Iowa City Pride Scholarship 2024
We believe that everyone deserves a chance at success. Iowa City Pride is proud to present three scholarships valued at $500 (USD). This scholarship will be awarded to the individuals who show the most need, have experienced hardship and hold passion for the future.
Criteria

Be an openly self-identified member of the LGBTQ2+ Community.

Be graduating/finishing high school, GED, Home Schooling in the year of application for scholarship.

Be a United States Citizen or be a legal immigrant.

Be attending an accredited college, university, or vocational school within the United States or Canada. Proof of acceptance is required.
The Application

Provide an OFFICIAL copy of the high school transcript showing a complete description of the measures of success and requirements for graduation.

Complete A personal essay as outlined on the application form.

Provide a story, essay, video,song or work of art that expresses you as an individual.

Provide at least 2 letters of recommendation from non-family members.

Prepare a detailed list of community involvement.

Sign an acknowledgement form agreeing to the outlined terms and conditions of the application. (See application form)
